John is a founder and Director of EVANSPETERSEN and has over nine years of experience in the recruitment industry. John’s expertise is most especially in Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology but has also grown to include recruitment for a range of industries including, Logistics and Supply Chain, Building Industry, Professional Services, Government and IT.
Having started his recruitment career in Sydney recruiting sales and marketing professionals, John then moved to open the Adelaide office of this business. Upon returning to his home city of Brisbane John has continued to recruit for the Healthcare sector, specifically in Pharmaceuticals.
John is originally an Applied Science graduate from QUT and before working in recruitment held Sales, Sales Training and Management positions in a major multinational manufacturer in the pharmaceutical industry. This background ideally positions John to understand the needs of business and develop appropriate strategies to meet each assignments requirement.

Gerard is one of the founders and a Director of EVANSPETERSEN. Gerard has eight years experience in the recruitment industry with a particular expertise in executive and legal recruitment.
Gerard’s clients include Major National and International law firms, ASX200 companies, large private enterprises as well as Government and Government Owned Corporations.
Gerard is regarded as the authority on Queensland in-house legal recruitment having recruited for some of the most senior and high profile positions in Queensland. Gerard is legally trained and prior to a career in recruitment was a Senior Associate in a National Law firm.

Prior to joining EVANSPETERSEN Robin previously spent over 15 years working in the Pharmaceutical industry starting as a GP Representative, building her career to be key leader on the Senior Management Team for a leading global biopharmaceutical company. Robin has lived and worked in Management positions in NSW, SA, WA and Qld including a number of roles with national strategic as well as operational responsibilities.
Her experience is complemented by an undergraduate Health Science Degree, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and a Masters of Business and Administration which, coupled with her industry background make Robin a highly credible and effective Consultant.

Mel has over eight years experience in the pharmaceutical industry in South Australia. Mel has worked in a variety of roles within the industry from GP Sales Representative, Hospital Specialist Representative, Training and Sales Management. Mel has worked for both multi-national pharmaceutical companies as well as highly specialized organizations.
To compliment Mel’s healthcare experience, she has extensive experience in the retail sector from a sales and management perspective. Mel was born and raised in South Australia and has worked in the region her entire career, so not only does she understand the industry but also the local environment

Karina Stafford joins EvansPetersen in New South Wales. Karina is a well known and respected professional throughout the Pharmaceutical Industry. She has spent the last 18 years developing her skills and expertise in many of the key strategic roles. Commencing as a GP Representative she quickly progressed through key Sales Management roles, leading sales teams and launching Blockbuster products. Transitioning to Brand Management, Karina has been the Product Manager for leading global Pharmaceutical Brands and specialty products. Karina has worked in State, Regional and National Management roles as well as being part of Global Strategic Teams. Steph Freeman graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Sydney University and has over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in both sales and recruitment positions. Steph transitioned into the recruitment industry after seven years in pharmaceutical sales and over the last four years has held both internal and agency recruitment positions specializing in Pharmaceutical Industry recruitment at all levels.
As an experienced pharmaceutical industry professional, Steph has a first hand understanding of the core competencies required to be successful in the roles of GP & Hospital Sales Representative and Projects Co-ordinator, from sales rookie through to sales executive levels. Having been employed with one of Australia’s leading pharmaceutical companies as a Recruitment Specialist within Human Resources, she has a sound understanding of the competing business priorities facing all recruiting line managers.
